Private chat without accounts.
Message the people you trust with no phone number and no sign-up. End-to-end encrypted, post-quantum protected, and it even works nearby without internet.
Your conversations stay yours.
No accounts, no phone number
There is nothing to sign up for. Each device creates its own keys, and you add someone by scanning their QR code in person. Nobody can message you unless you have paired with them.
End-to-end, post-quantum
Every conversation is encrypted on your device. The key exchange pairs today's proven cryptography with a post-quantum algorithm, so messages recorded today stay protected against future quantum computers.
Internet or nearby
Online, U-Chat connects through an encrypted relay. With no internet, nearby devices talk directly over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It picks the best route and shows you which one is in use.
The relay knows nothing
Our relay only passes sealed messages along. It can't read them, doesn't know your name or number, and deletes each message once delivered (after 7 days at the latest).
Disappearing and ephemeral
Choose how long a conversation is kept, or use ephemeral chats that are never written to disk. Safety wipe erases a conversation from your device instantly.
Calls and files
Encrypted voice calls and file sharing between paired devices. Notifications only ever say "New message", never who it's from or what it says.
Pair once, in person. Then just talk.
Trust starts face to face. Scan each other's QR code, check the fingerprints match, and you're connected.
For families, teams and anyone out of coverage.
U-Chat was born for crews working underground and off the grid, where signal comes and goes. It works at home, on the road, or on site, and it never needs to know who you are.
